Okay, by now you've got a few contractors you're interested in...so now what? Pick up the phone and call, but what specifically do you ask when you're on the phone with them? Asking the right questions is key. Here are some simple questions to ask a contractor when choosing who to hire:

- Can they provide detailed examples of previous work?
- How many other projects do they have going on at the same time?
- How long have they worked with their subcontractors?
Look for the company's ability, reliability, how smooth the project will flow, and how much time they can dedicate to YOUR project.
